I learned word press and had some help from a WP guru, but the concept and writing is mine. Thanks for your comments, and I get 9,000 hits each month from all over the world!
Keep up the amazing work!! I love how you wrote this and I also like the colors here on this site. did you create this yourself or did you outsource it to a coder??
Hi, Ruth, nice to hear from you. that piece has just returned from an almost two year tour of various fiber art venues. It is one of my favorites! I began silk painting 23 or so years go, and there was no one doing it then,… Susan Moyer began teaching, and I took classes from her. She is one of the best silk teachers I know.
I really love the peas in the pod. I paint silk and garden. such a surprise to see the peas. The scrunched work is beautiful. Thanks for sharing. I live and work in Minneapolis are and it seems there are not very many silk painters here in this area.
I taught Art History on the college level and now am very interested in silk painting. In the 70s, it was almost nonexistent. Great to see your work.
Sincerely,
Ruth Conner, Edina MN 55435
thanks!
